Jeanie Davis

Jeanie Davis provides friendly expertise by drawing on over two decades of experience in all facets of real estate. Having raised a family in the area and working with a husband who is an fine custom home builder, Jeanie has unique insights not available to many realtors.

In Jeanie´s Words…

I received my first real estate license in 1986 in Monroe Washington. At that time, I worked for the firm Realty Plus in a small town outside of Seattle. I also partnered with my husband Greg in his residential construction company. We specialized in Custom Log and Timber Frame Homes. My experience in real estate in the 80’s and 90’s taught me how to work hard in a down market. When I first started in real estate we didn’t have the advantage of the internet. Our business came mainly from word-of-mouth referrals. Integrity, tenacity, creativity and great communication skills were an agent’s greatest assets. Greg and I relocated to Northern Idaho in 1992 and opened Legacy Construction, specializing in upper-end custom homes. As a partner, I gained experience in residential construction estimating, construction specifications, as well as land development.
My experience in the construction industry has given me a great advantage in today’s real estate market. Bonner County dismantled its building inspection department several years ago and the quality of construction in our area can be very questionable. Having familiarity in construction from the ground up, I am able to discern between quality construction and construction that might appear to be good on the surface, but problematic in the long run.
We have had the opportunity to build for many clients on varied terrain. This experience has taught me to be able to see the possibilities when developing a parcel of land. The ability to ‘site’ a house properly, recognize the sun’s affect on a home, and familiarity with Idaho soil types all play a part in being able to give sound advice to clients seeking to buy property. I regularly deal with the many and varied government entities it takes to give someone permission to develop a piece of property and am able to act as a spokesperson to guide my clients through the maze of constantly changing land use regulations.
Although I have lived in Idaho for 15 years and have chosen a rural lifestyle in the small town of Clark Fork, I am originally a Native New Yorker with a 9 year stay in the Seattle area. I have been married for 24 years to the love of my life, and we have been very blessed to have had the privilege of raising three grown sons, Johnathan, Justin and Ethan. I grew up in a family with seven girls and one boy, so adjusting to a male majority household was quite a feat!
Arriving from an East Coast City of totally controlled growth to a West Coast City that was unprepared for the immense population explosion that was about to happen has made an indelible impression about how I would like to influence the area I now call home. Being a Realtor gives me the opportunity to be a voice for wisely developing the surrounding areas that I have the privilege to be part of, by helping my clients do the same. I look forward to meeting you!

Sherry Walker

Sherry Walker is a third-generation resident of Sandpoint, giving her a distinct edge and unsurpassed knowledge of the Sandpoint area. She has a reputation among her real estate colleagues and clients alike for her impeccable integrity and strong work ethic. Sherry knows how to ask the right questions and communicate effectively, helping her to successfully put herself in her clients’ shoes when it comes to finding the perfect properties for their needs. Trust is paramount when you’re working with a Realtor, and trust comes through seeing that agent put the clients’ needs above all others, including her own. Sherry attributes her success as a real estate agent to this ability to build relationships of trust–not only between her and her clients but among fellow Realtors with whom she works. More than the certificates or plaques on the wall, Sherry prizes mostly the many “Thank You” letters she has received from her past clients turned friends. All of Sherry’s business is referral-drive.

On a more personal note, Sherry and Doug (her husband) have three children: Grace (9), Kassidy (12), and Christian (17). A word of advice: you may not want to start talking to Sherry about her kids, because if you do, she just may never stop! Sherry earned her Bachelor’s Degree from BYU in 1997. In addition to her love for everything Real Estate, Sherry is a news junkie, loves to bake, enjoys boating on the lake with her family, and can be found outside work hours being highly involved with her church and kids’ activities.

Sherry’s Philosophy

Are you tired of talking to and working with Realtors with a passive attitude, who only want to work for the easy deal, and will only go for the “low-hanging fruit”? You never have to have that experience again! You will find Sherry works as hard for the $50,000 vacant land purchase as the $1,000,000 waterfront purchase. Sherry’s philosophy has always been as simple as The Golden Rule, and she knows she will be successful in her business if her clients have a great experience. Not only does Sherry have the “E.Q.” you’re looking for in your real estate professional, she also has the I.Q. Whether you are looking to buy your first home or your dream home on the lake, Sherry has the experience and expertise from years of working with dozens and dozens of clients with differing situations and needs. You will find that Sherry has the work ethic, negotiating skills, and expertise in her field you can count on. Sherry has not only helped many area residents with the purchase or sale of their homes, but she also specializes in helping individuals who are relocating to the Sandpoint area. Sherry also has a team of experts at her disposal, helping to make even the most difficult real estate deal become a reality. From home inspectors to lenders, and from well experts to excavators, Sherry has the connections needed to make even the most complicated real estate transaction come together.
